The Thermal Spas of Montecatini
The benefits of the thermal waters of Montecatini were known as far back as the early 15th century and by 1477 the spas of Montecatini were in operation, according to the city web site. The current spas, located in a park just steps from our hotel, date from the 1920's and are architectural gems. I plan to visit the spas on our last day ---- I will go on this trip a senior citizen and return home looking like a young (30-40) year old babe. Watch out world.
